Ingredients
- ½ whole wheat pita bread (you can use white if whole wheat is not available)
- ¼ cup prepared regular hummus
- ¼ cup fresh spinach, lightly packed
- ¼ small cucumber, sliced
- ¼ cup tomato, chopped
- ¼ cup carrot, shredded (about ¼ of a whole carrot)
- 1/5 avocado
- Supplies Needed:
- Dull Knife (to spread hummus)
- Sharp Knife (to cut vegetables)
- Grater (to shred carrots)
- Cutting Board
- Paper Plates (for serving)
Instructions
- Take pita half and spread hummus inside one side of pita.
- Stuff pita with spinach and prepared vegetables
