Pita Pocket Paradise

Ingredients
  • ½ whole wheat pita bread (you can use white if whole wheat is not available)
  • ¼ cup prepared regular hummus
  • ¼ cup fresh spinach, lightly packed
  • ¼ small cucumber, sliced
  • ¼ cup tomato, chopped
  • ¼ cup carrot, shredded (about ¼ of a whole carrot)
  • 1/5 avocado
  • Supplies Needed:
  • Dull Knife (to spread hummus)
  • Sharp Knife (to cut vegetables)
  • Grater (to shred carrots)
  • Cutting Board
  • Paper Plates (for serving)
Instructions
  1. Take pita half and spread hummus inside one side of pita.
  2. Stuff pita with spinach and prepared vegetables
