Apple Crisp

  • 4 cups sliced tart apples, pared
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dry oatmeal
  • 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extra
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease square pan. Place apple slices in pan.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle mixed ingredients over apples.
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm.
