Chili Turkey Burgers

Makes: 5 servings

2 1/2 pounds fresh ground turkey
1 cup shred sharp cheddar cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup small diced red bell pepper
1/4 cup small diced red onion
1 tablespoon sugar free Ketchup
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper Pinch cayenne pepper


  1. Place turkey meat and all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with your hands. (Use gloves if you have them as the chili powder may turn your hands red, won’t kill you though)
  2. Form meat mixture into 10 equal amounts and form into patties
  3. Pan saute the turkey burgers over medium high heat for about 7 minutes on each side until completely cooked all the way through. (This is poultry and it must be fully cooked)
  4. Serve as a meal with traditional burger set up of lettuce , tomato, onion and pickle and a couple dollops of mayonnaise.
