Eliminating food deserts in Chatanooga
The Junior League of Chattanooga’s Seeds of Change is a collaborative effort to eliminate food deserts in Hamilton County. Through collaborations with community partners, JLC will address the issue with advocacy, educational outreach, and the skills, effort and enthusiasm of its trained volunteers.

An ambitious push for change in Charlotte
Among many other goals, The Junior League of Charlotte’s Kids in the Kitchen program aims to integrate garden vegetables into local schools, implement a school wellness policy, improve access to healthy food, and advocate for changes to policies that restrict access to nutritious school lunches.
