Better Cheddar Cheese Crisps
Ingredients:
2 ounces Cheddar cheese
Chutney or salsa, optional
2 ounces Cheddar cheese
Chutney or salsa, optional
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stack the Cheddar slices and cut them into about 24 small pieces.
- Arrange them on the lined baking sheet in four rows of six, leaving as much space in between each as possible.
- Bake the cheese until well-browned and crispy, 7 to 7 1/2 minutes. If undercooked, they'll be soggy, so don't be afraid to check them and put them back in for more time, if needed.
- Cool the crisps completely before serving; as they cool, they'll crisp up even more.
- Store the crisps in an airtight container. Eat them as a snack alone or they are great dipped in chutney or salsa.
